Era um casaco que eu gostava muito do modelo mas não de vestir, mangas muito largas caía constantemente dos ombros, nada practico a vida de mãe de filhos pequenos.

Foi à máquina de lavar para feltrar um bocado e assim evitar de desfiar muito quando fosse cortado. Cortei, juntei todos os bocados, debruei como se faz a um quilt. Ficou com o tamanho optimo para usar quando nos sentámos no sofá.

 

It was a cardigan that I really liked but it was awkward to wear with it’s wide sleeves and kept falling of my shoulder  and not practical for a mums life with little children.

First it was  felted in the washing machine so it wouldn’t unravel, then cut, all the pieces were put together and bind it like a quilt. It’s the perfect size for the lap.
